Makha Bucha
The Makha Bucha Day is a Buddhist holiday in Thailand, and takes place on the first day of the 3rd Lunar month, by the traditional Thai calendar. It commemorates the Buddha's teaching of Ovada Patimokkha. Banks and government offices will be closed.
